To the Royal West of England Academy in Bristol, England for the
retrospective exhibition of Irvin's work and paintings that inspired
him. Curated by the President of the RWA, Stewart Geddes, who knew
Bert Irvin and has brought together his work, including some
early representative paintings and some magnificent large abstracts
from both national and private collections.

The exhibition also includes work by artists that influenced Irvin,
including Pollock, Motherwell, Newman and Sam Francis.
It's been a major achievement to bring all of this work together
in what has proved to be an extremely popular exhibition for
academicians and the general public.

    Many thanks, Stewart
